Bowl Used: Single Hose Sahara Custom
Foil: Reynolds Wrap, double fold
Water Base: Room temperature water.
Coal Configuration: One 33mm and one 40mm Three Kings Coal
Cut of the Tobacco: Moist, clumpy tobacco. The cut is a typical Hookah Hookah cut. Just imagine cutting open a cigarette and using that as their tobacco. Very thin and medium length strands.
Smell: The scent is a heavy body of menthol that cools your nose with the first sniff. But don't sniff for too long, it loses it's scent quickly and turns into something completely different, kind of like a fermented, stale alcohol.
Flavor: The flavor was cooked quick. It was very mentholated, but that's about it. There was nothing 'winterfresh' about it. I was a disappointed because I was hoping for more like a winterfresh gum flavor and all that was there was the overpowering menthol. I wanted a spearmint/peppermint additive to it. At about 30 minutes in, the fermented, stale alcohol scent was brought into the flavor and I just had to stop after that.
Smoke: The smoke was semi thick. Nothing at all to complain about
Longevity: This lasted me about 45 mins.
Overall thoughts: If you like menthol, this is an okay flavor. I think it would do better as a mixture when you want to add menthol to any flavor to change it up a bit. I wouldn't buy this or smoke it again, unless mixed.
